The Brain Fitness Programs Everyone Needs

Posted by admin on December 20th, 2008

It doesn’t matter who you are, your age, where you live or how high you climbed the educational food chain.  Everyone could use a little sharpening of their memory or any other cognitive function.  The good news is that, while a young science, the professionals within the discipline known as cognitive science have made substantial advancements which have led to things like The Brain Fitness program, which you may have seen on PBS.

Since cognitive science is in it’s infancy, there is much to learn.  What we already know is being used and applied to help people facing cognitive impairments in addition to those interested in preventing them.  Again, the method that works regardless is the Brain Fitness Program, and if you review the proof (research), you’ll understand what a profound advancement this is. There are two programs to choose from.  One is auditory based and the other is visual based.  The combination is ideal, since each type of information is processed in different parts of the brain. It is a myth that we only use a small percentage of our brains; in fact, we use all areas of our brain and this is why working each area (and skill) as opposed to one is more effective.

The Brain Fitness Program Is Helping Countless People

Posted by admin on December 20th, 2008

All you have to do is start reading the research and it is instantly clear that the Brain Fitness Program is unlike anything else.  There are other programs that attempt to mimic it’s methodology, but those have not been proven effective like the Brain Fitness Program by Posit Science.  In fact, the co- founder, Dr. Michael Merzenich has just been elected to the Institute of Medicine, indicating his exceptional work and more.  It can be difficult to sort out what is credible from the hype online, and I can tell you that this program has been seen on PBS and is revered in the clinical community as innovative.

If you or someone you know is having challenges related to cognitive function, no matter the severity, then have hope and take heart in knowing there are ways to help.  There are many tools available and programs like Brain Fitness, which are obviously natural and non-invasive, since you use these programs on your computer, and progress is possible for many if not most.  You have to use all your options that are effective, as an eclectic approach is ideal.  Brain training and brain exercises are a fundamental component to cognitive capability and as more people learn about cognition, the popularity of this training grows.  While many are looking for help due to cognitive impairment, many want to prevent it instead of treat it and these programs do both.

What Everyone Ought to Know About Posit Brain Fitness

Posted by admin on December 20th, 2008

There are countless reasons people choose to learn more and ultimately use Posit Brain Fitness.  Many people are interested in simply improving their cognitive capabilities, which include memory, attention span and mental clarity.  There are others who are interested in brain development to offset or delay symptoms of certain diseases, like Alzheimer’s.  Even more people are using this program to help people with cognitive delays or impairments.  The fact that one program can be used with literally everyone, no matter their cognitive ability, is simply amazing and that is only one of the factors making Posit Brain Fitness the premiere, and proven method for cognitive development.

No matter your situation, or that of someone you know, there are ways to improve cognitive function and they are supported by loads of clinical research. Peer reviewed research means that other experts, usually PhD’s with very extensive experience, review the work of a fellow researcher.  Part of this review includes being critical, so when you hear that Posit Brain Fitness has been proven to work, understand this is profound.  The reason programs like this work is because they target the areas of the brain responsible for learning, memory and processing information.  If you learn more about the brain you’ll learn about ‘plasticity’, which means the brain’s cells can change and begin working together and more efficiently; this is where brain training programs, like Posit Brain Fitness, come in.

The Easy Brain Fitness Program

Posted by admin on December 20th, 2008

A lot of people are interested, but intimidated by the brain.  Indeed, the brain is complex and so is learning.  This is why so many people are unclear on how they can increase their mental and cognitive capabilities.  The great news is that, thanks to a young science called cognitive science, researchers are now able to apply what we’re learning to help others learn more effectively.  The best example of research being applied with success is undoubtedly the Brain Fitness Program, seen on PBS, by Posit Science.  It’s cofounder is a well known and highly renowned doctor who is sought after and cited constantly.

There isn’t any other method designed this way.  You have two options for programs and they both are effective.  There is one Brain Fitness Program focused on auditory processing.  The brain is so complex that aspects of it’s function are related and you’d have no way of knowing.  For example, did you know that auditory processing, or listening, is directly related to short-term memory.  There are a host of other connections that can be maximized and focused on to change cognitive function.  All you have to do is exercise your brain with the right exercises and you’ll quickly notice a difference.
